At OB1 Medical Equipment, we are committed to providing quality medical equipment and reliable repair services. This policy outlines the warranty coverage on products sold by OB1 Medical Equipment, as well as the terms governing our repair services. By purchasing from us or using our repair services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

New Equipment Warranty

All new medical equipment purchased from OB1 Medical Equipment is covered under the original manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product, typically ranging from one (1) to five (5) years from the date of delivery.

OB1 Medical Equipment acts as your facilitator for warranty claims with the manufacturer. If your new equipment fails within the warranty period due to defects in materials or workmanship, contact our team and we will help process the claim with the manufacturer at no additional cost to you.

Certified Refurbished Equipment Warranty

All certified refurbished equipment sold by OB1 Medical Equipment carries our exclusive 90-day limited warranty. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials that affect the proper functioning of the equipment.

Every certified refurbished item undergoes a comprehensive inspection, parts replacement where needed, thorough testing, and CDC-standard sanitization before being offered for sale.

Repair Service Warranty

All repair services performed by OB1 Medical Equipment certified technicians come with a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue recurs within ninety (90) days of the original repair, we will diagnose and repair it again at no additional cost.

This warranty applies only to the specific issue addressed in the original repair. Unrelated mechanical or electrical issues that develop separately are not covered under the original repair warranty but may be addressed under a new repair agreement.

What Is Covered

Our warranties cover:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship
  • Manufacturing defects identified during normal use
  • Component failures not caused by misuse
  • Functional issues with the original repair (for repair warranty)
  • Free diagnosis of warranty-related issues
  • Parts and labor for warranty-covered repairs

What Is Not Covered

The following are not covered under any OB1 warranty:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Damage from accidents, drops, or impacts
  • Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear of consumable parts (batteries, filters, tubing, cushions, tires)
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function
  • Damage from improper cleaning or use of unauthorized cleaning products
  • Damage from environmental factors (water damage, extreme temperatures)
  • Equipment used outside of intended medical purpose
  • Issues resulting from failure to perform routine maintenance
  • Damage caused by power surges or improper electrical connections

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your equipment has a warranty-covered defect, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide details including your order number, product description, date of purchase, and a clear description of the problem.
  3. Schedule diagnosis — our team will arrange for inspection of the equipment, either at our Fresno facility or on-site for local customers.
  4. Receive evaluation — we will diagnose the issue and confirm whether it falls under warranty coverage.
  5. Repair or replacement — covered issues will be repaired or replaced at no charge. If the issue is not covered, we will provide a transparent quote for any work needed.

Repair Service Details

OB1 Medical Equipment offers comprehensive repair services for a wide range of medical equipment, including wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds, patient lifts, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, CPAP machines, and more.

Our repair process includes:

  • Free initial diagnostic assessment
  • Written, transparent quote before any work is performed
  • Use of OEM and quality aftermarket parts
  • CDC-standard sanitization upon completion
  • Quality testing before equipment is returned
  • 90-day warranty on the repair work

For local customers in Fresno and Central Valley, we offer pickup and delivery services. On-site repair calls are also available for equipment that cannot be transported.
