Powered Alternating Pressure Mattress with 8-Inch Lateral Rotation
The Alternating Pressure Mattress Lateral Rotation 8" combines alternating pressure with powered patient-positioning functions in an 8" mattress system. The mattress features 19 air cells , with three cells at the head remaining continuously inflated, plus four separate air bladders beneath the mattress that provide approximately 45° left or right lateral rotation , head elevation, and foot elevation. Two foam side panels positioned near the head provide additional support during rotation.
A digital compressor pump with remote control provides adjustable pressure, selectable alternating cycles, static operation, lateral rotation, and head and foot positioning. The system supports patients from 80 to 350 lbs and includes a waterproof, removable cover, CPR valves for rapid deflation, audible and visual pressure monitoring, and a pump operating at approximately 45 dB .

- Alternating Pressure With Lateral Rotation The 19-cell mattress provides alternating pressure operation, while four separate air bladders support powered left and right rotation of approximately 45°. Rotation takes approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds in either direction for controlled repositioning.
- Independent Head & Foot Positioning Dedicated air bladders provide powered head and foot elevation in addition to lateral rotation. Head elevation takes approximately 6 minutes 30 seconds, while foot elevation takes approximately 2 minutes.
- Digital Pump With Remote Control The digital compressor provides adjustable patient-weight settings, three alternating cycle times, static mode, rotation and elevation controls, control locking, mute functionality, and audible and visual pressure monitoring. The included remote provides additional control of the system.
- Waterproof 8" Mattress With Side Support The 8" mattress features TPU air cells, a waterproof zip-off PU cover, CPR valves for rapid deflation, and two foam side panels near the head to provide additional support during positioning.
